Chris, I'm looking at doing some framed prints in my fish room. The shots you take are absolutely stunning. I was wondering if you'd willing to share 2-3 high res shots to send out and have made up. Willing to pay for your work. Thanks PM me if you have any interest.
So if you could start again with Anthias would you not add any lyretails? I'm just starting adding Anthias to my tank added 3xsunset/diamond head Anthias and 3 x carberreyi anthias. Also adding 3 x lori Anthias in the new year

lots of macro shots lately, which are very cool! Any current full tank shots?
Hi Chris
how does the powder blue tang get along with the Anthias?
I haven't taken a full tank shot in quite awhile, partially because I don't think the tank looks quite as good as it did at its peak before I had my SPS issue last year. I'm currently siphoning my sand bed out with every water change so it's a little lame looking since the PVC is now exposed. I'm planning on switching to a slightly larger sand grain after the holidays.

eschulist said:I feel the same way. If I look back at old fts shots or coral photos and see things have gotten worse I hate taking photos until things look better than before. I don't want people to see if things are struggling or something died but I remember that things will always have ups and downs and it's also good to document the downs. It lets you see the progress you made to turn things back around again. It shows were human and that this is a hard hobby at times.
And many things I find disappointing in my tank someone else might not even notice. I like to be critical on my projects and my reef is no exception, but that only makes it better in the long run...
I understand what you mean about not wanting to post pictures after you have issues and stuff. But at the same time it shows people like me and people who are brand new that even the best tanks will have issues and can bounce back and keep going![]()
The new anthias are looking great. Do the males eventually get the white stripe after they exert more dominance?
Hi Chris what's your routine in regards to using kz coral snow, and do you turn the skimmer off when dosing said product?
Hope you don't mind me using this! Just looked too perfect
