I use the AIO type bio pellets and they throw of a lot of material as they break down I currently have the effluent empty into a sock which needs replacement every week and all the effluent matter sits in the water until the sock is removed. This way the material is removed completely from the tank, as Marty says all decomposition and nitrogen cycle impact is removed.

The water and particulate matter flow across the white filter element which is continually (slowly) replenished with new media (rolls off one onto the disposal roller). Theory is the particulate matter never breaks down like traditional mechanical media (filter socks) because it's actually removed from the system by rolling onto the disposal roller before breaking down. Neat trick because you can bypass the whole nitrogen process because the waste is directly removed.

I use the co2 loser but I changed out the regulator for a better quality piece of equipment.
Credit to Asian reef for picture and figuring this all out.
Picture shows new regulator compared to standard C02 doser reg.

thats pretty cool. Do you have to have the Nest thermostat to have the Nest cameras? i could look it up but we are all being too lazy!

I do have Nest thermostat's and smoke detectors' but everything works independently.

How does the color look on the cameras in the middle of the day? Is there any type of white balance or expose settings with these webcams?

That flame wrasse really stood out for sure.

Midday is better, with the nest cameras there is no WB adjustment I wish there was.
