Progress today!!! I have a running RO/DI 6 stage unit! OMG - no more hauling water jugs up the stairs!!

Also brought another DC8 online and an ATO!!!

The 2nd DC8 is installed in the Gecko tank stand as I ran out of room in the electronic section in the stand of the saltwater tank. It now controls the heater and light on my Gecko tank along with the ATO. Woah - I am sooooooooooo frigging happy with today's progress!!! My tank build is officially complete!

One hour ago:

Attempted to move my MP10 to the back wall of the tank rather than the side.

Attempted to stand on a rolling desk chair to see above the tank and align the wet side with the dry side.

Chair rolled out from under me and I fell about 3 feet - have not had the wind knocked out of me like that since I was like 10 years old (I actually laid there for about 3 minutes just to make sure I wasnt going to die lol)|

During all this I also knocked my Ehiem auto feeder into the water - 99% of the food stayed in the feeder (thank you for small favors) - got up and used a fine mesh net to grab what food did get into the tank.

I believe the feeder itself is toast - ordered another tonight and it should be here in like 3 days.

Current feeder is in a container full of rice - no, I don't believe that will fix it but worth a try right?

I put the MP10 back on the side of the tank for now and will attempt to move it again at a later date - ugh!

P.S. What does a cracked rib feel like all?

No it is not sticking out of my "check" or my chest - so I am all good then lol

Angie, not sure which auto feeder you use but the BRS deal of the day just switched to a Hydor EKOMIXO for $27.

In addition to ordering a new feeder, I hope you ordered a step stool? Safety first!

I am pretty sore - all my ribs are still in my chest so from what I hear - I am all good

I have a step stool - it is in the bedroom closet. I decided it was a better idea to stand on a rolling chair on non-carpeted floor and make such a loud, nasty commotion with my arse hitting the floor and the chair going full over on it's side after rolling across the loft - then to get the stoopid stool and possibly wake Kevin when I went to get it.

Had my ACIII go offline for a month or so but back online now thanks to some help from a fellow reefer (THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH SIR).

Got my ATO working awesome along with my RO/DI system - and have a second DC8 in the gecko stand controlling some of my tank and also controlling the lights, heat on my Gecko tank. LIFE IS GOOD!

Spent over $400.00 at the Expo on equipment and livestock.

Below is my crappy current pic of the tank as of tonight showing all my new frags

(The stuff in the acclimation box is GSP for myboysmommy)

Next up is to install the new skimmer with swabbie and skimmate locker that I picked up at the Expo - thanks Drew!!!!
 
I'm so annoyed- I have been working on dialing in this skimmer for the last 3 days. I was just about there tonight when I needed to put my hands in the tank and didnt wash up first - I always forget that even though you may have put on perfume 14 hours earlier - it is still in your skin along with all the oils if you dont wash up first.

So - of course - now the skimmer is low level and not producing anything much while dealing with what was on my hands and now I wait some more to get it tweaked.
