Well i just found a heck of a deal on an ELOS 70 system. Have been eyeing them for a while. I'm thinking of going Barebottom on this tank, probably SPS heavy but not 100% sure yet. Can't wait to get it in a few weeks. Pics to come....

Taking suggestions on lights as i currently don't have any, will go LED.

Tank Dimensions 29,52 x 22,44 x 19,7 h inch (55g)

Will be selling my BC29 wiht LEDs onces this is finalized.

I have 2 of the mars aquas black boxes over my 40b. I'm pretty happy especially for the price.

Well finally got it in the office.

Looks great. Do you know the story with the black back panel? I thought the pools were always 4 sides low iron.

You might as well just add water to the sump as-is. That's what it will look like even after you try to organize it :rotflmao:

The previous owner painted it with a latex black paint for aesthics? I'm thinking i could try to scrape it off but i'll leave it as is.

As for the sump, i had about 50% more room in my 120 stand and it looked like crap, i can only imagine this one...

Looks great so far! If you go SPS heavy it may not hurt to go with a second radion. You get a lot of shadowing with them otherwise.

yea i found some rubble rock at my office so i threw a chunk in there lol...

I ran out of salt, so i only have the salinity at 1.013 right now

I recognize those bags!
So what did you get?
