Has anyone tried Vibrant Liquid Aquarium Cleaner by Underwater creations? I have been dealing with turf algae for a couple months. I have been doing 20% water changes weekly and removing it by hand daily. so far it seems like I am keeping it in check, but am not gaining anything. After doing a lot of reading on other forums I decided to give vibrant a try. After 3 doses, the algae is getting lighter, and is a lot easier to remove. I have not had to clean the glass in 10 days, so it works great on film algae.

I'm following this thread! With all the challenges of my new build, bryopsis is on the verge of being the next threat. Even after scrubbing the rock with a wire brush and dipping it in full strength peroxide, it is now popping here and there in my display tank. It is one tough DEVIL WEED.

On R2R, people are getting good results with Vibrant, without side effects. Plus, it's a MN product!

I got a bottle of Vibrant to try out when i was starting to see hair algae growth.. If you keep on top of the doses i find it works pretty well. I know there is an entire thread over on R2R about it as well.

I have been using it for 3 months and loving it. It really works. Just did a full strength dose today as I noticed some green algae dusting some areas of my rocks. Been holding off because I am trying to get a new algae turf scrubber seeded but I decided to start dosing again. The ATF will just have to wait. I am not letting this algae get a foot hold in my tank. Have kept up with the big thread on the other forum and others are getting very good results as well.

I dont think you need to bring guns into battling algae.

I've been very happy so far with using Vibrant. I'm about 6-8 doses in. Really killed off the hair algae and helped the sand bed. Helped me to start taking care of my tank like I should be again.

For the sand bed does it take care of cyno?
Yes but depending on the other algae in your tank the cyano may get worse before it gets better. The breakdown of algae may release nitrates into the water. Keep dosing and keep doing water changes and it will disappear.

I picked up a bottle at the swap and have done two doses so far. Water is incredible clear, and the little bit of hair algae that I have starting to recede.

I've been using vibrant since the swap and taking pics every other day. Maybe the water is clearer but my GHA is still growing. Ill post pics as soon as I can get them off my camera.
