Awesome. Is the plan or hope the tusk fish don’t create too much damage to the reef as they grow. Or is it more they tend to go after shrimpies and things.

Mostly just a matter of avoiding small snails and shrimp which works for me. They do like to carry things around from what Langer said but I already have a tang and gobie who are pros at carrying plugs like a stick.

What a beauty!! Do you have a guestimation as to the actual length (and height for that matter)?

I'll have to look closer tomorrow. He's definitely got plenty of growth left in him... I'd assume about 6" L though so probably 4" tall and 1" wide?

Stock list:
Yellow mask angel
Blonde Naso tang
Goldflake angel
Achilles tang
Harlequin tusks (2)
Royal grammas (3)
Diamond gobe
Clown

I agree. You should.
And I also want a bigger tank.

@RSnodgrass
Tell your brother to clean his side of the glass!
And where are the tusks? :(

Yeah it definitely was a little green! They keep dodging in the rocks.

I'll get a video soon... MAYBE even this weekend.

It’s interesting, when people come by, who know nothing of saltwater, they often say that’s a favorite… then they get excited when a royal gramma comes out for sure.

Harlequin pair is doing well still and getting much bigger. Chuck Noris the Naso is also enforcing the peace well and the Godfather (yellow mask angelfish) is getting big enough that his chompers can’t get between some coral and is allowing zoa to grow again.

Both the achilles and naso are getting defined / pronounced steamers on their tails now which is great to see.

Fun fact… the colt coral on the right was MIA after dying for a couple of years, it’s going strong now!
