I know I feel bad because there’s people that probably only login once a week and may not see it

Full up at this time.

PLEASE everyone is your plans change update your RSVP so other can have a chance to come.

Bringing my toddler along, but I stress the kids need to be supervised.

Please note each member is limited to two guests, including kids. If there is open spots left closer to the event, we will open it up to more.
Please let us know if you have spot open up for 2. I have medium size RBTA I can donate. If they continue to split, then I might have more to bring. Aquatic section looks nice on our last visit. Been awhile though. We were just talking about someone (zoo staff) really put some work into this.

The event is full at this time but I’m making a reserve list for spaces that open as people inevitably change plans.
Dang we have a MN zoo membership and my son absolutely loves to hang out at at the tropics aquarium

Hi all! Wow, it was sixteen years ago that I attended the MN zoo's after hours TCMAS event and I'm very nearly twice as old as I was at the time. Hoping we won't have a blizzard this time. I am so thrilled to see the excitement for this event and THANK YOU for the kind words about our recent tank renovation, it was much needed and I'm really excited about the future of the display! Its also awesome that there's so much interest in the meeting, and I hate to see that it filled up so quickly.

Regarding coral donations- I am so incredibly grateful for anything the community wants to share with us. It's also so very kind of anyone to ask what we're looking for, so I can elaborate for those who asked. Stony corals in general would likely fit better with our plans, with soft corals (leathers, polyps, mushrooms) not being actively sought out at this time.

I also have to laugh- I can't stress enough that we are hoping for ONE RBTA! Again, the generosity is absolutely overwhelming, but space for anemones is limited and I may not be allowed to host these again in the future if everyone brings anemones

Gosh was there a blizzard? Your memory is better than mine!

Thanks for chiming in here! I updated the original post and linked to your notes here for donations :)

As life would have it, I will not be able to attend this.😫

There is at least one spot open now.

Seeing the amount of interest in this opportunity, perhaps it is something we can do on an annual basis.🤷🏽‍♂️

Do we need to separate a list of 25 for each time slot? Or do the first 25 that show up go at 5:30 and the rest at 6?

I suspect we can be a bit casual about that bit, it shouldn't matter if the groups are slightly different sizes. It just gives everyone an opportunity to see behind the scenes without each group bumping into each other.

I'll bring the one on the right? Thoughts? 1000002317.jpg
