FISHING TOURNAMENT

and finishing off the day with a fish fry.

I really try and make this one. This year I believe our son and girl friend will be joining us at Campers Paradise that weekend. I may not be able to leave.

Yay! We'd love to have you join us. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t. But, you are definitely welcome if you can make it.

Good point. Reef Campers don't have to join the fishing contest if they'd rather not. I don't usually fish but I might try it for that day. We'll see.

Thanks for the generous offers to host our fall biz meeting @Crum and @Livestuff. Its great to know our community will show up when the call is put out.

We did however have an offer from @asifiqbal2 many months ago to host the fall biz meeting. The BOD(mostly myself) just forgot that was on the table still. Ill update the meeting post soon like.

@Bradlincoln just so happens to be our most recent member and is willing to welcome a bunch of reef keeping strangers into their home. Now that's how you make an entrance! Thanks Brad for being a part of our awesome community straight out the gate.

Okie, let's do this . Could you put me in for a house meeting on Dec 20th? I think that's a Sat. I don't know why people usually pick Saturdays instead of Sundays for their meetings but there must be a good reason so I'll stick with the tradition. .. I guess I have to start dragging out my Xmas decor. ... Maybe I just throw out on the yard tons of inflatables and make that the theme this year??

Another year of TCMAS tank tours has wrapped up! We had 7 House Meetings, a food making workshop and an impromptu FIF-Fest. All in person, all in real time and all for the love of reefkeeping!

These semi-regular events are one of the hallmarks of our eclectic organization. Sure we have this great forum, but it is really just a communication platform. Our House Meetings is where the REAL community is built and experienced. Every meeting, whether there is 2 or 20 bodies, generates brilliant opportunities for conversation, problem solving and continued learning in this dynamic craft that brings us all together. So, much thanks goes out to the reef geeks who shook off some salt creep and came out of their fish rooms to show up!

But of course these opportunities wouldn't even happen without our gracious hosts. It may be a rare breed of reefer who allows potential strangers into their homes to eat their food and ogle their fish, but we certainly are grateful they exist! So to @Livestuff, @Mathew0, @Griepp06, @zoolan70, @spsick, @Bradlincoln, @asifiqbal2, @Woodyth, @BlindSwordsman........ thank you for being weird enough to be a reefkeeper, but socially adjusted enough to host a gathering! CHEERS to you fine folks!!

So without further ado.......lets see who of this exceptional crew randomly receives $200 worth of the clubs gratitude!!! We didn't forget about that did we!? House meeting hosts are all in the running for a $200 GIFT CARD to the sponsor of their choice. Though both @zoolan70 and @spsick did a great job getting people together, the events did not operate under the criteria of our house meetings.
