If you need any help I am in the area as well. I think I may have seen this tank before. Did you get it locally?

Well if u ever need to move it I have some great suction handles that I ordered to lift my 300gl... Best things ever!! Ordered them from manufacture that built my tank, better than anything u can rent! The movers tried their best to buy them off me but I said no way!! Anyway I have them if anyone needs help moving a large tank or want to make moving a smaller tank a breeze...:beerchug:

nice looking tank....I am just up the road as well, so if you need anything, let me know

Also, what are your plans for the tank? Reef? Fish Only? Either way, I think your skimmer may be a little underpowered for that much water

As far as a return pump, I think that Boker420 has a Mag 12 for sale right now, you may want to look into that, it would work great for that tank

Well since everyone wants to help I may do a cook out with some beer and have everyone come over and help lots of hands will make short work of what I have left

I run 8 48" on a 180g for going on 2 years now. I like it just fine. 2 bulbs in the back are centered between the overflows and the other 6 are staggered. 3 on each side extend 6" from the end. It works well for a community tank. The middle 3' can grow acros/sps just fine since all 8 bulbs are over it. The 1.5' at each end still plenty for all LPS like blastos, acans and all fluffy stuff like euphyllia. When all lights are on you don't really notice that the light isn't 100% evenly distributed. Might be a bit more limiting on what you can put on the bottom on the ends since your tank is taller but still not a deal breaker IMO. My reefing buddy ( now out of the hobby ) did the same thing on his 220 only he used icecap ballast to get a little more punch. I just use standard driven ballast.
