220 build (1 Viewer)

I run eight staggered 48" T5's on my 215g basically just like David.

I may not have chosen that if I was buying new. Likely would have done MH+VHOs. But since I already owned all the 48" equipment it turned out well.

new equipment found a mag 24 for the return pump and as soon as i ID the skimmer that was given to me and find some parts for it i think that will be big enough will post pics in a few minutes

Bad news I'm not having good luck with anything on this build put water in the sump and now its all over my floor what the heck I hope this isn't a sign of things to come with this tank. Anyone want to help me re seal the sump it held water before I put it in :help:

you may just want to buy a new sump (glass tank) to swap out. i would forever be worried that I would come home one day and water would again be all over my floor

Are you sure that it is coming from the sump and not from the plumbing? It is common to have plumbing have the leak.

If it is truly the sump, since it is new, I would return/exchange it for a new one

I'm pretty sure its from the sump cause there was about 2 in of water in it and now almost nothing going to pull it out and fill it up in the garage and let it sit for a few hours

OK, that makes sense. I would reccomend putting newspaper/cardboard underneath it, and check on it every 15-20 minutes, that way you can see where the leak is coming from

As some of you know we were expecting our second child well he arrived on sat morning in the ambiance in our driveway so the fish tank will be on hold for another few days ill try to post pics soon

Congrats on the new baby boy.:beerchug: Put the rocking chair next to the tank and reverse your lighting schedual so you can see your tank when you are rocking him.:gay1:
