ok so back to the tank who up for helping me take the water and live rock out so we can reseal the sump and who wants to help with that to let me know i will have the beer and food here for those who help and just want to show up and bs

I think about 15 mins or so i have work off til thurs because of the little one but he sleeps alot so i have a lot of time to work on the tank

hey everyone youll be happy that after a three week break from the tank because of the new baby and how crazy life is that i finally got water in the tank again last night i found the leak in the sump and resealed it. i was suprised at how easy it was. hopefully i will have it full tonight and the pumps running and take a few pics for everyone

its full of water and the pump was running and the battery on the camera died. two fish will be in it tonight hopefully

question for everyone how do you make the return line quiet my tank came with a over flow kit and the 90 elbows where drilled in the corner so that it wouldnt syphen back in to the sump HOW DO I MAKE IT QUIET.

I used gate valves on both of my tanks....works PERFECTLY! All you need to do is add a gate vlave (not a ball valve) in your return plumbing and slowly close it until it stops gurgling
