How often and what are you feeding?

That little shell in the second picture is the feeding shell where I squirt the food and she knows to swim to it and then that will be where the food is sitting! She is eatin hiakari mysis and had been ever since she was born.

Just ordered the second one, not exactly sure what I got, whether it is a black erectus or a crypsus erectus (color changing).The lady i talked to on the phone was from Australia and had a thick thick accent so I have no clue what she said! So we shal see tomarrow!

Buying by color may mean you overpay. From my understanding, they can change color based on several factors including environment, stress, etc...

Their color changing crypsus are specially selected due to their ability to change colors alot more then they typical erectus. They are selected silly based on how often they change colors.

Got the male seahorse just now and let me say I am very disappointed in fed ex......I was lucky because I was watching for it but when the fed ex man came he dropped the box at the door and walked away....didn't ring the doorbell or knock in the door. If I wasn't watching the door the seahorse would be sitting out there all day and probably would have died.

But on a good note, I opened him up and he is doing great, and very active!

Update!!
Going on week 4 and all is good! All if my red algae started disintegrating so I purchased a couple fake plants and be seahorses love it! Pics are comming soon!

Thank you I think they are quite comical! The way they will do anything thinkable to get to the food without actually letting go and swimming to it! Very lazy in my opinion
