what pump do you have for the skimmer? i swapped mine out for the BB3000 that pump is fantastic.
mine sits in about 9 1/2-10" of water

yep. i have same one you have the 2500

I called them awhile back and they said it can run as low as 6inch, but 8 to 10 is prefferred.
