Well dude - I never went home with a Leather from your place......

The Green Leather everyone likes is a FIF from Nandkblock - its actually my favorite coral in the tank so no Clint......not from you, however I have fragged it forward 3 times now so we should all be seeing it in some more tanks!!!! :beerchug:

The GSP however IS from you, all the other GSP I had died off during the tank move(s) so there ya go, that is the rock I got from ya and it is doing awesome - thanks dude :biggthumpup:

Side note - Glad to see ya around again dude, missed ya

Over the last month I lowered my Tek - 6 bulb from as high as it could go to the lowest setting

Everything is doing great - of course I move things on a daily basis (yall know I cant help it).

I picked up 5 Kupang Damsels on Sunday.

Acclimated them and Monday evening they were all hiding - understandable as my Clowns are pretty mean

Came home today to one dead Damsel, looked around and found 3 hiding and also noticed my Clowns searching them out.

As in they were cruisin in area's they NEVER cruise, just to go after the Damsels.

The smallest Damsel darted in my YW/Shrimp's den - didnt see him come back out - do ya'll think my YW would kill the Damsel??

The other 2 were hiding behind a rock last I saw.

At that point I shut off the lights

New lesson learned - if you have MEAN AZZ Clowns - only introduce fish that are bigger then them

I should note - about 3 weeks ago I added 2 large PJ Cardinals and had no problem....

I feel really bad about the Damsels - you know - I kept thinking Damsels are mean, if I add 5 smaller ones they should be ok, right? WRONG

Live and learn....

Gonna see what happens in the next day or so

If they are still getting beaten up, gonna catch them and FIF them - poor lil guys

Yeah - ya'll know I cant just sit back and wait when some awww fishies are in trouble

I caught the 2 that I could and they are in the largest section of my sump

FIF, as in free fishies, pay it forward with fishies that wont work well in your tank sometime if you can.

I know someone will give these guys a home where they wont be beat on - they are gorgeous. Largest is less than 1"

I have 2 in the sump - I am hoping I find the 3rd that cruised into my YW/Shrimps den....


Pick up in Coon Rapids tomorrow after 2pm or I can meet you at DA after 4 pm

Preference given to newbies with established tanks

Here is what they look like - only they are more blue and yellow- (pics look purple)

These guys are NOT the typical Damsel - they are timid and would only work in a community tank with no super aggressive fish

Turns out I just needed to tweak my skimmer and its going crazy now!! Woo Hoo!! Thanks David Grigor and Chris Goetz for the suggestions!

No FTS yet but I took some cool pics tonight of my sand eating cucumber and my brain chowing down - enjoy (and try not to notice the red slime I have been dealing with)

This is an awesome frilly mushroom I got from Dave as an unexpected gift, along with 2 PJ Cardinals - its one of my fav's - had no idea it would eat like this
