Wonder what caused the red slime issues this early on. Hope you find a home for the damsels. You know I'll give them a good home too if you still need one. I love midas blennies, they have such character! :gay1:

Wonderful build thread, awesome documentation and great pictures! Thanks for sharing Angie!

It happens. Could have come in on a frag, a rock, who knows. it's part of new tank syndrome most times. her 40B is still "growing up" and red slime is part of it :(

Do most tanks just "get over it" eventually? I've been keeping an eye out for the return of mine. I spotted a very small bit of it and immediately started a new regimen of Poly-Ox (And I'm going to do it right this time! 3 drops in the morning, 3 drops in the evening)!

Yes. Keep the water clean and syphionit out when doing a water change.

should I neg rep point you for not cleaning the red slime up before the photo?

Or give you a positive one for keeping the same tank going for so long..

Ohhh the choices!

:)

Oh come on - it was nighttime - I couldnt disturb everyone.

I was more concerned with getting the cool pics of the sand eating cucumber to share with the club - so THERE!

Not that I am pushing the fixture. But is it just me? or does that tank look brighter with the new fixture? That Orange leather really looks happy in there :)

Dingbat - it IS just you at this point. I have not taken any pics with the new fixture on :gay1:

BTW - Dave would you like to expand on how you and Kevin spent 5 minutes trying to find the correct bit...than I opened up my bit case and picked the correct one within 5 seconds???

Men - amateurs I tell ya!!

I see your Midas poking out there! Did you get a tailspot also? Can't tell.

What??? I like you and your fixture NEVER changed bits in the drill tonight.
