Adding Live Copepods to my system? (1 Viewer)

I have recently cycled all my live rock out of tank and replaced it with cured rock. I have a manderin goby and I'm worried about his food source. Has anyone added live Copepods to their system, and if so is it pretty safe?

I set it up back in June 08 i see some pods now but not alot.

I have a male and female mandarin that eat frozen. Copepods are not the only thing they eat.

I would definately throw some pods in though. I added my first mandarin in the first 2 months when I started my tank from scratch. Let me know if you want me to give you some direction in getting them acclimated to eating frozen.

I will get some on order. Does anyone know of a local place to go and pick them up, or do you have to order them online?

My male and female are doing their thing nightly but I have a lot of flow and wouldn't know because I haven't looked to close. :biggrin: They are in love.

Discovery Aquatics in Anoka sells live copepods. One bottle repopulated my tank in several weeks' time.
