Have MI for 2+ months now. Eats everything including angel formula with sponge. Watch out for your acans, otherwise all other softies/lps/sps will be ok.

So after unbagging, I almost had a heart attack when I saw my new fish started to hanging too close to the over flow box where the cleaner shrimp. Next thing I know, the shrimp took a sudden move and this is what happened next.

I got sponges in my tank but I haven't seen him eating yet. Finally wondering around the tank and exploring. I'll get more picture once he's eating. He came big -n- fat so that will help with the adjustment.

It looks like you got a great fish there! I have a lot of experience with these guys and my best advice is live brine shrimp and lots of them. For some reason these guys love them. After they gets situated mine seemed to really like angelfish sponge mix food. Nice job so far and good luck!

good luck, he's awesome looking. mine made it a week and all my lps became breakfast. i feed him three times a day didn't help. if it doesn't work out i do have a fish only now.

Last night I came home and noticed him start picking up the pellets that sunk to the bottom of the tank, so crossing my fingers. He did start picking the x-mas worm though. I'm hoping to pick up a bunch of fan worm for him as treat, but hope to keep him on pellets.

If you can get him eating pellets that is a great start.

He started to pick on my Acans, and Micro and am not so happy about it. I guess pellets was just a at the moment thing. I started feeding him frozen scallop from Cubs, so I hope that would wean him off the corals. Gonna look for angel formula sponge, since he's not touching the sponges in the tank. I might consider selling the acans if it comes to that.
