Bryan, what are the blue schooling fish in your tank? Are they blue chromis or some kind of blue damsels? They add alot of color.

Yeah those are Fiji blue chromis
ha ha, yeah, understatement. I'd rather spend the extra money and make it look okay (I won't say great cause my plumbing skills are not). I've got strong enough pumps I don't need to worry about the additional head created.
Tonight is clean-up.
A little tid-bit for plumbing planning.
Problem: Home Depot and Lowes (or other retailer) unions are not the same or interchangeable. I had my nice expensive gate valve on Home Depot unions so when I had to relocate it I was going to reuse half of the union to prevent any cuts. All the new ones were from Lowes, crap. Luckily I had enough extra pipe to cut off the old unions and put new ones on.
Lesson learned for everyone: Make sure you buy extra unions from the same store for future replacement of sections.
LMK if you want some help with the plumbing, I am a pipefitter and I do kind of owe you a favor! Nice looking Sailfin BTW.

The tank does know how to ruin a day too. I brought my RKE down to the basement to calibrate the PH probe again. I happened to drop it on the concrete and now the screen won't display anything. It is still working, which is good, but I've got an email out to DA to see how much a screen replacement is.
I have the remote display unit too but I haven't upgraded the firmware to allow me to use it yet.

Thanks for sharing. What's your stock list: Sailfin, 2 mystery wrasse, handful of blue chromis (blue green chromis?), pair of clownfish.... I remember you stating that you didn't have an interest in fish particularly.

Right now the plan is to use square glass tiles to edge the top. This tile didn't have edging available for it when I picked it up. I could probably go see if it's available now.
