I was using sponge power for polyp extension then recently decided to try Aquavitro fuel. I've only been using this for a week and the results have been amazing. Lps are looking fuller and sps have better polyp extension.

Anyone else using fuel?

On serving 3, so a week and a half into it.

Encrusting Monti's seem to pull in for a short period after adding, I assume to feed.

Don't really see anything else yet.

Are you dosing the full recommended amount? I'm only doing half as other people have said to start with half the dose for a bit.

I been using that for a year now... It is OK... I found making my own coral food with addition of Amino acid from GNC work better than the fuel.

I bought some a while back and was using it for a few weeks but didn't get any results and I stopped using it. Besides, I hate the smell of it.

I do not know if I believe in it but parts of me really want to so I add it. I usually do the recommended amount about half as much as it's called for.

Couldn't tell you if it makes a difference though.

Yeah it looks like redbull and smells terrible. Which amino acids did you buy from GNC

I get them in pill form where they contain about 10 different amino acid in one. One bottle is about $8.

This is how I made the fish food.
I mix 10 pill in one flat zip lock bag of fish food we made at one of the fish food party.. I added a quater cup of RO water. Run it in the blender and put it on the high speed mode for two min. I get about two zip lock bag after I am done because of the extra water. I feed my coral everyday now with this stuff and PE is really good. The remaining large particles are pick off by the fish.

(I suppose to add a couple of tea spoon of sugar into this mix to feed the bacteria... I did not add sugar) I might have to try that in my next batch.

One of the employees here uses it in his tank at home and has great sponge growth and polyp extension on his SPS is pretty sweet. He said he uses the inner capful for every 25 gallons 2 times per week.

I used it through the first bottle in my 75 and honestly saw no difference in the growth or coloration of my corals. I do normal water changes so it could be that the minerals needed for my corals was in the water change and this didn't add all that much. Maybe if there were no water changes it would be different.
