ATO is Over Floading My Fuge - HELP! (1 Viewer)

You just measure how much you evaporate each day and then use the dosing pump to pump that amount every day?

yup. You still have to add a bit every now than then because you want it to add a hair less than the tank needs. also you'll have to adjust it for the seasons.

I was skeptacle about the dosing pump also, but has been working great for me the past month. I set it up with my RKL to dose for a five minute duration 11 times a day which equals to about a gallon of evaporation. I will probably have to adjust it during the winter, but it turned out to be very easy and I highly recommend it.

How much head pressure can those things take? Wondering where I have to locate the jug and pump. The jug is approx 4 feet from the tank.

It draws in water. It's a pump that's metered. It also won't back siphon.

Sounds like a winner! Didn't feel like drilling the bottom of jug. Just can put hose btw lid and jug. Anyone know what size line the doser uses? 1/8th?
