Auto Fish Feeders (1 Viewer)

I've been using the Neptune one for years without issue. I do like that I can change up the feeding remotely. Say I forget to up the auto feeding when out of town I can make the change after leaving. Only downside is it is a bit loud, but the fish consider it kind of a dinner bell.

yep the plank is an awesome piece of kit!

I have x4 of the Lifegard Auto Feeders and they are working great. They are rechargeable which is nice. They have actually been on the same charge since October and they still have battery life. And that is feeding twice a day with a few rotations each time. Also do the tape on the door! That is a great hack!!!

I was reading up on the Avast and it keeps mentioning a sicce pump. How does that work?

Many use the avast for plankton feeders to have micro feeding ability or coral food. Tiny foods float so the food drops into a tube and there's a tiny mixing pump in there to get the food to sink.

I do like my avast. The eheim kept tipping over and had to add a bunch of weight to it. It also feeds slow enough that the fish seem to get to more of the food.

Any feeder that plugs into a wifi controller or apex is nice.

I tried out a generic Amazon one (sucked) and the Eheim and really liked the Eheim except for having trouble regulating the amount of food that came out. Should have thought about covering that whole with a piece of tape like others suggested but I got it the day before leaving for a trip so didn't have time to fiddle with it. Don't run one normally.
