if you dont want to fuss with moving connection to the reel, T it off and put two ball valves on each run, one to the mixing station pump, one to the python venturi. now its as simple as closing/opening the right valves for draining/filling

that is awesome. Not sure I even need one, but might get one anyway. Worst case I get 80 feet of Twizzlers in it
have you reeled it back in when hose has water in it?
Is this still in operation. If so, how is it working. I would like something like this for water changes…water going back to fill only

Just fyi, Costco sells these reels also. And they have 100% satisfaction return policy. So if it fails you can return it.
If you need a boat load of silicone tubing I've got a few hundred feet laying around.
