Blennieluvr’s 120 LPS dominant build (1 Viewer)

Bummer about the tang😿! I know you were struggling to make sure it could get good eats with the other tang bouncer.
The Blenny pair will be great! Both small active fish that will cruise your new scape delightfully. And you should have plenty Blenny holes from the looks of it. Little chance of aggression I’d think!👍🏿

Bummer about the Kole tang. They are very cool fish. Love the Mimic. I have a tail spot @Rendgrish he's doing well and every one gets along with him. I too would like a Midas Blenny. I like your style

Tailspot and Midas have been added. I am very pleased with them both. The two add a lot of movement and interest to the tank which is just what the doctor ordered. It’s so nice to see fish heads poking out of the rocks again. I sure do like me some blennies. I have never had a Midas and it is sooooo cute. The only other fish I am considering now it a leopard wrasse.

On another note, my tank looks just a tad off. I hope it is just adjusting to new lights but am going to do some testing to be sure parameters are in check.

Also, I have a couple of rock structures curing for my aqua scape project.

Wait you like blennies? Never would have guessed ;) I'm a big fan as well! And I highly recommend getting a leopard wrasse, just make sure it's eating well before you purchase. They are such an interesting fish to have in the tank

I tore out a bunch of rock last weekend. The left side of tank still needs some work but, it is already better than before. I was going for more negative space and flow. I had two large, log shaped rocks that I used when I set the tank up because they were clean and well established. I had always intended to take them out. Two years later, one of those logs has corals encrusted on it. So, unfortunately, it is still in my tank. At least, it’s the smaller of the two. I am pleased with the euphyllia island. And, with a bit more tweaking, might be Ok with the rest.

Now, I am considering changing this LPS tank into more of a mixed reef. I love the look of rocks full of corals and, my LPS will not allow that. Seems like maybe a time for a change. I saw a friend’s tank this weekend and, it inspired me to rethink softies. Then, last night, I was reading through Blindswordsman’s builds. Hey, I might even put a few sticks in. Still working this out in my head. It is a huge change of mindset for me.

You can do it! (If it's what you like to go for :D.) To me, there might be some limit in what you can keep together well in the same tank, but with the right combination of things that can be compatible to one another, and some arrangement, you still can have a pretty mixed reef.

Yeah. I won’t go for leathers as I know they can cause issues. I have one green toadstool that is grandfathered in, already. Will likely look for some nice zoas and maybe even shrooms.
