In the course of 24 hours my blue headed wrasse appears to be losing his color. I'm guessing this is a bad sign. Is there anything I can do to help him?

I will try to copy and paste a pic here.

I've never seen that before. It looks stressed, but from what, I don't know. Hopefully someone with more experience can answer. Bump!

I can only say from my own experience that its either stressed or transitioning, when we first got ours his colors sucked, had him under crappy light and it was a pale white with a black spot, replaced the light and you can see the colors coming back, i assume its transitioning, so i would think the one pictured is doing the same, does it act normal?

Returned to normal

Since I didn't know what else to do, I did a major water change and turned out the light early. The next day, it had returned too normal, colors and all. Very peculiar. Thanks for the replies!

I've seen that sort of thing happen before from stress, but not to that extreme. That's good to hear things are back to normal.
