I got a 50 gallon bag/pouch today. I'm going to mix it tonight to 1.025 and see how it goes. I've carried Tropic Marin for the last year or so and am very pleased. I just recently started carrying Brightwell additives, so I thought I would give their salt at least a chance.

Brightwell salt is formulated to mix to 1.025, so when it says a 150 gallon bucket, it means 150 gallons at 1.025....not 1.020.

Brightwell tests every single batch and keeps a sample like Tropic Marin incase a bad batch were to go out and was discovered after the fact.

Not made in the same factory as other U.S. Salts.

50 Gallon Pouch is resealable.

I'll try and post tomorrow.

Just made the batch, so far I am relatively unimpressed. After 5 minutes of mixing I can still see particles floating around in the water and a little bit of settlement of this gray looking stuff. It also has this funky smell, similar to that of a rubber bouncy ball.

Perhaps there is something different about this salt. I will talk with Chris tomorrow and see why it's so different.

Water testing to come tomorrow after it's completely mixed

Pricing is about the same. I wasn't impressed with the salt.

Mixed @ 1.025, tested with Elos

Ca: 370
Mg: 1275
Alk: 9.5
