i have talked with him a few times and ordered a couple of his lights and love them working on switching over to leds on my 220 and my corals are loving them you cant go wrong with the lights that he is selling nate
 
ill buy a it2040 with the layout cliff proposed. i agree with the sunday deadline monday order. we should all ship to one address $245 is a sweet price
 
OK I just received confirmation from Andrew with AJM Reef LED concerning the D120 120w Full Spectrum Standard Fixtures and we can add those to this group buy also. $145.00 for the standard fixture, if you want optics add $10.00, and $10.00 if you want to have them shipped to your address instead of all the lights to one location.

This is a great deal everyone!

I would say lets go ahead and start sending in our orders and on the 31st that will be the final day for the group buy. On April 1st Orders should be processed and mailing out within the week per Andrew.
 
I think that sounds good for the 31st. Cliff any luck with figuring out the dimmer on your d120?

Please list exact instructions for clarification.

-are we supposed to send payment and order to the vendor email?
- or send order to you and payment to vendor?
 
Cliff is the one setting it up but from what I can tell each person sends there own payment to them and in the notes section you write what you want and where you want it shipped.

I am debating if i should get the D120 over the IT2040 for my frag tank. What do you think?
 
That's a toss up. I think the it2040 looks better personally but for a frag tank do you really care? Also d120 is like half the price.

Clarification for payment and instructions:

First: DO NOT SEND ME ANY MONEY!! LOL, I am coordinating this with AJM but I am in no way shape or form processing your transaction with them. If you have ever done a group buy with Bulk Reef Supply this is some what the same thing. The vendor has agreed to sell their products to our club at a group discount with the understanding that we will have at least 10 total lights minimum in the order. I can coordinate the shipping to my address in Apple Valley for those who want to have it shipped to one location and you can come pick them up from me once they are delivered or if someone else wants to volunteer we can have them shipped to their location. I also work downtown Minneapolis in the Oracle building and can bring them there if you want to coordinate a time and day to meet me there.

If a person wants to do a custom layout then have them email me first (AJMAQUATICS@GMAIL.COM) to get the layout form and then send it back to me. Then in the memo section place in that its a custom layout

I will keep track of all orders and send you (General0) a list of who I have and what they ordered and how they are receiving it when you decide to close the buy. As soon as that is done I will get them ordered and sent.

Do you have a preliminary count of IT2040 and IT2080 so I can get them started? (and now D120)

Things we still need to do/finalize:

1. I will need to give him the "group mail to" address, so we should make that decision today on who/where we want those that are having them shipped to one location sent.

2. I already sent Andrew the led spectrum layout we agreed would be the default from the previous thread. If you want a custom spectrum please forward Andrew an email requesting the form to complete for your light otherwise you will receive the custom layout I forwarded to him for the 16" and D120. For the 32" version it will be the default layout on his website unless you request a different one.

We can go ahead and start sending in our payments today and I will have him send me a update daily that I will post here with the names of those who have paid if you want or I can just list the number and types of lights paid for to keep track of our minimum 10 units needed.
 
I am fine with having it shipped to apple valley. We can also have it shipped to my house in richfield if that is easier for people.
 
I'm getting 1 IT2040 and 1 D120. I have had the D120 over my frag tank and it was good but with my 31x31 dimensions I need 2 for better coverage. For a bit more money you can get 2 D120's vs. 1 IT2040 too!
