I've been looking at these LED fixtures for awhile. It has a couple thousand of posts at reefcentral over the last few months. I talked to a few individual from reefcentral who bought it and they are very happy with the performance. You can order it straight from Evergrow which is in China or Reefbreeder which is in the US. If you order it from Reefbreeder, it will come with 2 years warranty. Below are the links from Reef central and Reefbreeder

I talked to Reefbreeder about the group buy and it looks really nice. I am planning to get 2-3 in the next couple of weeks and just want to ask if anyone else is interested.
Below is the pricing that i got from reefbreeder.

If you guys can get 12 units of any type, or mix of types, shipped to one location, the prices are as follows:
Value: $150 instead of $179
Photon16: $250 (IT2040) instead of $319
Photon24: $280 (IT2060) instead of $329
Photon32: $400 (IT2080) instead of $449

I am going to be ordering the it2040 next week I think. I found a guy over on pnwmas that is a distributor in the states and he can do $249 shipped for as many as you want.

To get the IT2040 for $249 from the guy that Kheebl suggested, we need a minimum of 12. I am thinking of getting 4 and Kheebl is getting 3. Anyone else?

I wonder if they have their descriptions mixed up? Otherwise I don't get the Photon 24 having 4 less LEDs and being 8" longer

Photon 16
The exact color combination is as follows: channel 1; 16 4500K neutral whites, 2 520nm greens, 2 450nm royal blue, 2 660nm reds, and 4 410-420nm violets. Channel 2; 26 450nm royal blue, Channel 3; 3 480nm blue moonlights, for a total of 55 3 watt LEDs

Photon 24
The exact color combo is as follows: channel 1; 12 4500K neutral whites, 2 480nm blues, 2 520nm greens, 2 450nm royal blue, 2 660nm reds, and 4 410-420nm violets. Channel 2; 24 450nm royal blue, Channel 3; 3 480nm blue moonlights, for a total of 51 3 watt LEDs

Thats the way I understood it as well, and by the looks of the picture it is correct. Appears the LEDs are just more spread out. The 16 has 5 rows front to back and the 24 only has 4.

Anyone else interested in ordering the IT2040? We have 7 as of right now and I was told we can make it happen if we get a total of 10, possibly even if we get 9.

I would be interested in getting a it2040 but wouldnt be ready till next friday? When is the deadline?

No deadline the sooner the better, just need to get the people all lined up first.

thinking of getting 2 photon 32" for my 125g.

Also is a photon 16", 24" or photon 32" better for standard 40 breeder? Not sure if I will put any stony corals, but I guess the option is nice.

I am putting rock mainly in the center... on the edges would like to be able to grow low light stuff in sand bed.

I was also thinking of getting 2 32" leds for my 125 but was told that the center braces will cause shadowing so I am going with 3 of the 16" ones to avoid that. The 16" version will cover a 2'x2' spread.

Reefbreeder was telling me something dif. He said that you won't even notice shadowing.

ill take a $150 value light for sure...my friend wants 2 but is closing on his new house next friday so he doesnt wanna fork up the dough till next month.

I talked to the evergrow distributor tonight and the group buy is only good for the IT2040 16" light. this is not through Reef Breeders.
