Well I'll pull out the multimeter tonight and play with the dimmer switch to figure which wires control the actual dimming (should be two of the 4 in there). Another option for controlling it would be using a DIM4 controller for those who do not have a reef controller. What little I do know about the dimmer in this light is that it has 4 wires going to it and it also controls on/off power so it will be interesting to figure out how it all works. The plus is that there isn't any circuitry in the dimmer itself.
Even with this I would still want another light and would rather have one with the controller built in versus modding a new light, want to keep my warranty you know!
