i found this pack of mini LED no little base like other christmas lights these are amost like fibre optic lights. I thought about making some moon light out of these. I can get white and blue and i think i could make it look perfect.

Give me a go ahead or no. I have no research with LEDs but i do want moonlight.

I bought a pack of 20 blue led's on ebay for $8 shipped. They are rated at 12V but you can run them at 6V. I am using on old 6V cordless phone plug in power unit that I had saved (after I threw the phone out) to power mine. The led's are very focused and bright. I decided they were a little too focused ("Beam me up Scotty") that I filed the rounded ends flat and now have a nice soft light. I just wanted a night light, I didn't want it to be too bright so I ended up using only 4 of them on my 215. I can always add more if I want to later

A trick that Nate taught me was to point the LED's (if you have the focused ones like mrbill) at the reflectors of your lighting system. This especially works if you have a retro kit. The reflector disburses the light more evenly without having to file the LEDs down.

Ha, YOU taught me that! I think Ray told you that...

Yeah, it works good though.
