i will have 2 fish in the tank to start with... im thinking about some deepwater anthias to help with the food. personally i dont think you need fish in an nps tank... the coral speak volumes themselves...

for sure i will get a pair of (Liopropoma carmabi) there is is no discussion with that lol... and like i said possibly an anthia of sort...

this will be plumed into my main system so im assuming that what the skimmer doesnt collect with either make its way back into the nps tank as well as into the main display where other corals and fish will eat it...

weekly water changes should help should anything be left

if i had the balls i would start an NPS tank. i have been in love with carnation corals forever. infact seeing pics of them is what got me into reefs to start with. i was hard broken when i found out that i could not keep them. its felt almost as bad as when i found out leonardo donotello raphael and michoangelo were only painters and not what i thought they were

ive messed around with gorgonians before, but never anything of this magnitude, needless to say im scared sh!tless... there are a few nps site ive been frequenting ALOT latley as this has become more more desired by myself.. i am going to try my hand at it... i hope to god i dont crash and burn... they are a sight, some of the most beautiful tanks out there...

its an adventure i must try.... ive read and read and read.... then when i thought i was done, ive read some more... i bet ive studied for this tank more than i ever did for a test in college... here to hoping it pays off

I understand what you mean but study and learning. Although I believe that is always happening with this hobby. I have been planning my next tank for over 3yrs almost already. Although kinda torn on the demensions I want to do, keep changing my mind. :gay1:

impulsive yes... almost to a fault at times, dd worked with me for these fish... i sent them an email last night about them, they've had them for alooooooonnnng time so i asked if 2 more weeks would kill them, took some finagling but we finally reached an agreement.... they really do run a top notch facility and i like there customer service.....

also made another purchase today... i bought a camera!!! took your advice luke, went and "played" with some at national camera and came home to ebay... found this!!!

i was either going buy a cheap pos or a nice camera... which way i went was up to the salesman... i told him the type of features i wanted, and the $$ idealy i wanted to spend.... just like any great salesman well for this you get this.... however this is one of my favorites and look at what it does..... needless to say i hit that bait like a northern pike...

im thinking american express is really enjoying clint this holiday season......
