Before you know it you will have a larger reef system than half of the zoos in the country! Better get some giant fluidized sand beds going too while you're at it! (isn't that what the Shedd uses? IIRC)

i have one fish pic to post, as the 2nd is still hiding and i very seldomly get a chance to even see it... color has faded even more since when they came in... feeding responsce today is near 0.... im gunna go on a live brine hunt tommarow since the mysis is NOT working.....

ill also post a pic of my project im going to be starting on monday for the nps system..
its my auto doser for food.... NOTE THIS IS NOT MY SYSTEM!!! but i will be copying it...yes its the deal in the mini fridsge to keep the foods cold... 38 degrees as a matter of fact

Clint if that feeding system works for you i may need to pick your brain about it. I have wanted to keep Carnation corals my whole life! they are why i got into reefs. i wouldn't mind a 40 br NPS after you have stream lined and can tell me how to do it =)

it really isnt that hard once you figure out what your doing... but once i get it up and running ill let you come take a peak at it
 
Get it up and running - then I will believe it - easy to post what you want - I want to see it ALL in action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Otherwise - your just posting about what I have beeen dreaming about!!!!
 
That pic was from an insane build on Reef central wasn't it???? Very interesting project! With all the extra space in that fridge I wonder if one could add a coil of tubing to the supply line and use this as a chiller also?????

The recovery time of any fridge is not fast enough to be an effective chiller. You'll just end up with a box full of warm fish food.
 
I talked to him the other day on the phone and he said the tank has arrived. Apparently, he's going to school 12 hrs/day and working two jobs. Not much time for playing on the internet, and it has slowed his progress too.

BUT, when it finally is setup, it will definitely be something hardly anyone has done before....
