Dalua lighting thoughts… (1 Viewer)

Kicking around the idea of moving away from my dual Neptune Skys and going to Dalua's Illumagic x4. Does anyone has expierence with these lights? Ran kessils on my smaller tank previously, and did well in the T5 hybrid setup....so I looked at the AP9X...and Radion G6 Pro also. Like the Neptune all in one system, but with them discontinued, feeling like
maybe a change is needed.

I’ve heard good things but only from influencers who have skin in the game…

I love my GHL Mitras LB3, and a friend of mine says his ATI Straton Flex are in a class of their own (in price as well as performance haha) Using half the wattage of anything equivalent

Personally I think my next tank will be either all GHL Mithras (probably LB3s to get a T5 look, but perhaps using the LX7206 I have). Or the ATI. My big “concern” there is how they changed models so quickly from the Straton pro to the flex and now maybe something else? Makes me wonder if they don’t have it quite locked in.

The Illummagic look good and the lens are replaceable. Radions are tried and true as well.
I plan on adding blades to the G6 once the tank grows in

Dalua is all hype. I've never seen a company with so many obvious SHILLS on social media. Pretty much every single one you see with those lights is sponsored.
Tbh, the skys arent bad. Just weren't worth the asking price. Built quite cheaply.
I would get those reefi's from @Nickz if you want different lights. I was going to grab them, but ended up going with 4 nicrew lights instead. Mainly because I only needed blue to supplement halide, and the nicrew have narrow lenses so I can hang them higher and not be wasting light on the floor and walls. Reefi has swappable reflectors to fit your needs. I just didn't need that much light either. Lol I bleached a couple acros with the nicrews already. Lol
