So UMN has a ReUse program. The university has a lot of various bits and bobs that can be useful for the hobby, or at least, for my hobby. I've picked up things like power cords, erlenmeyer flasks, serological pipettes, etc for very cheap prices. The other day I picked up a Danby 22 pint (10.5L) dehumidifier for $35, and it has successfully brought down my apartment's humidity levels to non-aquarium filled apartment levels. Retail wise, these things go for like, $199. I might even go back for another haha. I know there are still a few left, and given how humid aquariums can get, figured I'd share here.
