Whatever happened with Becky and other Clint isn't a reflection on this Clint. I wouldn't hold that against the new owner.
 
Contracts merk/ Clint. Never met ya in person but you have helped me out via posts and such. Also still waiting for the pics of the Tyree toadstool. ;)

If I had not listed a reason, I'm sure rumors would be flying around like "the check bounced." So I wanted to bring clarity to the situation.

Just as an FYI, there are two Clints. This Clint has his stuff together and I'm sure you will be impressed.

Thank you Matt!

I realize there was some bumps in the transition to me. I was offered the store. I bought it. Anything that happened before that was completely out of my control. I'd even argue that the events in my life that led up to me buying the store where in someone else's hands ;)

If you told me a month ago that I would be transfered to another store, be unhappy at that store, and quit with out much of a plan to move forward then get a phone call from Jake with the offer, list and sell my tool box in days so I could afford to buy Discovery Aquatics I would have likely laughed and said "ya... right.."

I wish Becky and the other Clint good luck and I know in the future they will be back. I consider both of them friends, and have talked recently with one of them who wished me the best of luck.

Remember, things are not always as they seem. There are always two sides to every story. It's best not to judge Becky, Clint or Jake. with the details that you have. Just know that the deal they where working on did not go through as planned.

With that, I really have nothing more to ad. Lets move forward, take what Jake has started and build on it :) Jake did a great job getting DA where it is today, and I thank him for that.

We had one of those we bought from Buus but we broke it :( I think that one was an angel. I am going to try to get a larger sign but that is up to the landlord.

One of those fish in the window does sound cool though ;)

I'll see if I can locate one.

ok smart butt... who's got the other 180 dollars to buy it? ;)

you mean like "back in my day gas was 89 cents!!" and "your lucky! I use to have to walk to school in the winter, up hill both ways with no shoes on!"

Wasn't this suggested when Jake owned DA? Let's really make it happen. I hate driving past the building because you can't tell which building it is until you are right in front of it and thus past the turn. I'll throw in $20. Anyone else?
 
how bout we settle on a "OPEN" sign from sams club that lights up? those are cheap :) And it looks like if the landlord approves, I can get a larger sign for the store.

So uh. since I have a Costco membership. I'll get you in to Costco if you get me in to sams ;)
