Enhancing zoanthid growth (1 Viewer)

In honesty, I think they grow in dirtier water as them seem to absorb more from it. They are seem to grow faster in/on the substrate than in BB glass systems because they suposedly secrete a liquid which helps them grab nutrients from the sand/rock.

PS on the pink zoas, I had one set that would grow like mad. And another after 2 years sprouted another polyp, so I had 5 polyps total.

my pink palys grow so fast. dirty water equals more growth. can't see a reason to target feed zoanthids when there are other corals that do benefit for sure. who has the time for that kind of stuff?
