FINALLY! Getting my TANK! Tonight @ 8:30pm (1 Viewer)

Glad that live rock worked out good for you, the tank is starting to look awesome!

Yea...Thanks Eric, your LR really help and still is with the cycling process...At this rate my tank should be fully cycled in 2 wks.

I know I'm breaking a few rules...but this is currently in my tank...

2- Blk Perculas (Eats like crazy and very playful with each other)
2- BTA, thought 1 was going to die, but it was just purging...Right now both are very active and thriving..just did direct feeding of shrimp chuck, ate it right away...
2- Zoa Colony- blooming...vibrant color (Eagle Eyes & Red purple combination)

I'll take better pics of them later today...right now they are ZZZZzzzzz

To help with the livestock in my aquarium...I used Bio-Spira (concentrated Bacteria) once a week for 2wks., Coral Vital everyday @ tsp every 100g for 30 days, Salifert All in one once a wk., Logal's solution for iodine once a wk. (8 drops), Bacter Bacteria twice a wk., and Bio-zyme.

I wanted to place a Powerhead below...but it would blow the sand off the bottom

I positioned the power head(MJ) so that the the intake takes in water from the cave; this I did by adding some flex tube & the outlet pumps the water upwards ...this way the sandbed doesnt turn into a sandstorm.

Nice tank; Love the dimensions & look of it

Thanks, Taklu...I tried that...and for some reason the anemones go after it when it's that close to the sand bed...Don't want them getting sucked in...

Plus I made sure the rocks are placed more towards the middle so that there is flow going behind the tank...

i have the same moonlights above my 110, i love them, they give off lots of light through out the tank, it covers the whole 5' of the tank, you wont be disappointed.

hummm haven't seen that, i guess i like the brillance of them at night.
i'll have to check it out, thanks

hey wondering how you have your lights mounted, do you have a canopy ? i have mine in the canopy but i have them tucked way up away from the MHs to avoid melting them.

My canopy will be coming soon...currently it's on the tank itself (hanging around the frame) My 250w MH is about 16in. high so it's not close to it at all...Not enough to melt it and my T5's are right next to the LEDs as of now...But when I get my canopy it will be mounted close to where it sits now...It's about 1-1.5 in. above the water level...No splashes...I may put a 6 in. piece of glass so the T5s and LED can just lay on top of the tank without worrying about it falling into the tank
