Now that reef co is gone. I find myself needing to find a new place to get PE mysis from. Any east side metro folk have any good leads? Woodbury petco I know has it sometime but they were much higher than anyplace else and a little far for a quick run for me.

I’ll have to make the longer trek to New Wave for food now as well.
There is a couple freshwater shops in Mpls (no closer for you ) but not sure what the have for frozen.

Thanks Ben. Gonna look into delivery. Maybe brs or new wave but guessing that will be expensive as well.

Any other options for good frozen?

You could try to DIY some frozen food from your local grocery selection, but otherwise I think your best bet is just going to be buying a larger quantity at a time so you can make fewer trips to New Wave/Petco. Shipping on frozen goods has to be pretty steep I would think.

Just looked and pricing is similar to in-store and PA, BRS, and SWA all charge $30-40 shipping on frozen.

I usually order from BRS. Even with the shipping they end up comparable to driving somewhere and buying it. Since it is flat rate shipping you just need to order more at a time so the shipping cost is spread out over more items. You can also order regular items with the frozen and they are covered under that same shipping charge.

NWA was a bust. BRS it is Thanks everyone for the help. Man it sucks not having a local shop anymore. I sure hope this hobby can grow again in the cities to help support some more local stores.

Why was NWA a bust? I just got some from them last week. But I agree.. waaaaay more of a drive for me.

They just had frozen food 20% off so I bet they were cleaned out?

I did pickup some 4th of July week during the sale and there was plenty of stock.
Love the PE mysis. Was contemplating trying one of the DIY recipes to augment it.
