Mark Day one with all the First round of corals in. Frankly I think there are too many. I listened to Mr. Lee's advice and payed close attention not to get too many of the same colors near each other. I also tried to pay attention to how each coral would fill up the space the best.
I guess you can take as long as you want with the build if you can instantly fill it with coral and still be at about the same point as if you had coral in it from the early planning stages, hah.
Looking good, but it will be even nicer once it grows in.
Nice Fritz! :biggthumpup:Already looks sweet. When you get a chance post more pics. is the picture above with all lights on? What fish did you decide to stock with? I see the CBB...
Like Screwtape said, pre-planning gets the tank going faster. Many of these corals have been growing out for this tank for over a year. Unfortunatly, I have been using the BRS calculator wrong, and now I know why I have had big ALK swings... I mixed up DKH and meq/l . Hopefully this will be the last time... sigh. So I had done this again recently and went from around 5 to 9 dkh almost instantly... corals not looking so I decided to just move them on up. I was going to wait another month, but I am excited to be done with the move. The last bits go in by Tuesday. a few encrusting corals and the Regal. :beerchug:
