Just thought this was funny. I had set a wren house out on our patio table this summer. Tonight I was sitting there and I noticed this little guy just hanging out on his patio, enjoying the evening.

I am so jealous of folks who have frogs in their backyards!

Cool photo.

Bill, come out some time. We have at least 5 different kinds of frogs as well as toads, salamanders, skinks, four different kind of turtles and several different types of snakes. Just today I picked up a Red-bellied snake in the front yard (cool little snakes).

The frogs are great, until you have to shut the windows because they make so much noise that they keep you up at night. I hate to mow the lawn because I know I am killing and maiming little critters even though I try to be careful.

We have a waterfall pond in our backyard and have tons of jumpers. We have to be carefull at night so we don't step on them. I have done it and it scares the crud out of you. I agree mowing is a challenge.

It has been a banner year for frogs with all of the rainfall. My 4 year old son likes to catch them and keep them in his little toy terrarium. We make him release them the next day and then catch another.

If the frog has orange armpits I think its a green treefrog... been a while since I've seen one but they can change color from green to brown to gray depending on surroundings. Really a cool froggie :)
