Don't forget to be saving your LFS receipts!

TCMAS is going to reward you for supporting our Sponsors!!!

IMPORTANT RULES
For every $30 spent at a local fish store or TCMAS sponsor WITHIN THE 2 PREVIOUS MONTHS we will give you 1 raffle ticket. The $30 sum needs to be on 1 receipt, you can not combine 3 $10 receipts for a ticket, but you can bring 3 $30 receipts for 3 tickets. A receipt for $90 will also reward you 3 tickets.

Max per person will be 5 tickets, you must bring your receipts WITH YOU to the expo and present them to the event committee members handling raffle ticket sales. We will then verify the receipt is recent, is from a local store or sponsor, and the amount of tickets you will get.

Credit card statements and/or word of mouth will not work, the event committee members will be under strict instruction to only accept receipts provided from the retailer in question. If it was a web purchase, a copy of your final sale receipt showing amount due, amount paid, and store purchased from will suffice. We would greatly appreciate a physical copy as it's much faster and we need to take a photo, print it out and bring it in.


This will be a continuous effort from TCMAS and the event committee, going forward.

Purchases made at the event will not count towards this offer.

I know they have all transactions on the computer/register. Likely you just have to ask.

Just an idea, but if you don't want to give up more than 5 tickets too easily, what about raising the spend amount per ticket after 5 tickets? Even if it's $100 spent to get a ticket after that point, at least its still some added incentive to support at LFS.

Not a bad idea, but we do need to be careful about how we do things like this because there is a fine line between supporting a local fish store as a general practice and actually advertising for them or trying to funnel business to them. As a non profit organization this line needs to be carefully guarded, even tho as individuals we would like to see everyone spend all of their money locally.


I will also add in the reason the dollar amount was set where it is, was so that everyone would have a chance to participate in this opportunity and it is not reserved for those who spend a ton of money during this time period. Even those who just go buy some salt, or a new scraper or what-have-you may also benefit in some manner.

If someone were to help (myself), could we maybe do this as a pre raffle thing? I choose e-receipts as much as possible in hopes to save paper. This kind of defeats the purpose. Again this is just a suggestion, with offering to help with the change.

FyI I have ordered twice from BRS and while there is a picking sheet- it does not come with receipts. (eheim pump and a ROdI unit) .
