To all of the members that answered my threads today, THANK YOU But also want to apologize for saying I was getting mad, it was not directed at any members, mad at myself for all of this, I jumped into this with no research and no flippin idea on the amount of money needed to start this up, my tank is going to be a slow 1 and no corals for at least 6 months, will work on getting my gear upgraded before I add corals and many other things, thanks for everything and I look forward to talking with you all in a manner I should have had in first place, I plan on attending meetings in the coming months and going to the spring expo.

Knowing is half the battle.

now youll be able to create the stunning display you envisioned at the beginning, finding TCMAS was a great step in the right direction!

No big deal. Keep researching, asking questions, and learning. That is what this club is about.

What you have going on is perfectly fine for fish only. You can keep moving with your plans. The kids at this age are mostly interested in the fish anyways. Just be sure to only pick fish that are reef compatible.

this club is filled with execptional and knowledgeable people. the hardest part of this hobby is patience.. i make 1 promise to you. if you listen and absorb the information passed along to you through this forum you will find sucsess. the last thing any of us want is to see someone fail. be open to ideas, sugestions, and sometimes critizism; its all meant to lead you down the correct path. we all understand not everyone has the same budget but that doesnt mean you cant make it work. so please dont get frustrated. the wealth of knowledge shared here is for everyones benifit including your kids who you want to see happy.

my front door is always open to members who want to learn, so if you are ever planing on being on the east side of st paul and are looking to gain some on hand information, feel free to give me a shout and stop on by.

Glad to see this thread. After seeing some of your other posts today, I could tell members were getting concerned for your continued success. It seems like you've got a better understanding now.

Here are a few good take-aways:

- This is a tough, frustrating, expensive, and "slow" hobby.
- This is a wonderful, thoughtful, rewarding, and exciting hobby.
- You will eventually follow paths that you NEVER could have imagined because of this hobby.
- And most importantly, learn all you can from the folks at TCMAS. Most everybody will be looking out for your best interest and we have ALL "been there and done that."

Feel free to reach out to me directly through PM, if you want to talk through any of this!

-Joe
