Infrared fish room web camera (1 Viewer)

Setup my infrared camera in the fish room, way cool. I run reverse photo period so I can see water levels etc. during the day with the IR. Has audio so I can hear if pumps are having issues and give the wife directions to fix things as the cam has a mic too. Tilt/pan functions too.

Next I'll get one installed on the tank.

I have two of these cameras. They have had problems on my wireless so I haven't been using them. Do you have them wired into the network?

Hardwired just because I was in a hurry to get things setup, my switch is in the room next door. I had them on wifi but moved them to wired.

I have 2 8910 and and 1 8918. 8910 is a lot better in picture quality. I also have them setup wireless with no problem. I set one up in front of my fish tank and the other 2 as security camera. Works great!

I have one for my living room and entry way, plan on getting one to point at the tank as well! I love them!

I have 2 that will be transitioning to tank watchers that we were using as video baby monitors. it was slick and a fraction the cost of commercial video baby monitors (not to mention that we could view the camera from our cell phones/tablet/computers and even remotely, not just the crappy small display of the commercial products)

I've been meaning to do this for ages! Was planning on getting a $10 hd webcam and a mini android box, but the Foscam is an interesting alternative. How far can it pan?

Interesting...I don't use foscams, but do use webcams as security/tank cam. I'm always wondering how safe they really are too use? Nothing is ever fool proof I guess.

I have one of these on my 75g as well. I run mine wireless and I have never had a problem. Setup time was 5 minutes... I can see everything well enough to know that systems are working. Great purchase in my opinion.
