I was wondering what kind of conditions you mihgt be keeping them in. In particular par and flow conditions. Growth rates etc.. Picked up a frag and I think its growing... Light tips and increasing polyps in those areas.. Also, without researching it more than I have..... wondering if these are plating or encrusting Montis???

One of the most robust and resilient corals we’ve cultivated over the years.

Good to hear both of your thoughts.. I have yet to be able to keep anything in my 60 cube so far till this and what i think is a blue Lepto.. both near the bottom.. I want something prolific to take over a rock and was thinking the Spongodes would do the trick.. Now if I can just find a nice Plating type Acro for the other rock.. I hate how I cant change orientation.. ANyway.. spongodes on right rock, Plating coral on left (2 back corners) and hoping to find some acros for that center bridge.. SO far thinking stylo and other.. Still trying to get SPS working. tank is now full purple rock and about 9 months old. Maybe I should update my photos.

From what I've seen (perhaps coincidence) it spends more time plating in higher light and grows very vertical in lower light. Perhaps I have that backwards... caps do the opposite as do many acros.

Mine is in the back left. Started as a small chunk about 4 years ago. Mostly plating. I have a one LED fixture over the middle and this one has done nicely off to the side.Full Tank.jpg
