I recieved my latest Triton results today and I was suprised how good they are, no suprises!

Yes, they give detailed instructions for dosing for each element to correct using Triton supplements of course.

So there is no documentaion available for the meters but I did some digging in the direct portal for the Apex and was able to change the flow meter type to ports and GPH to LPH settings, I had assumed this would be automatic. It is not and you need to define in the dashboard module setup. I did have a wierd thing where it would not take the settings but it sorted itself out. readings now are correct and I am happy. main tank flow is 1500 GPh and fishroom tank 500 GPH

Yikes, so basically what you are saying is all they are good for is telling a person they have water going through a pipe, that is unless they get jammed up with precipitate or algae.

Any reviews on the optical sensor? What are your plans with that?

Finally Rev 2 of my sump for rollermat is shipping , it has taken 6 months but more fun to come once it gets here and I have to switch them out. This one is mansized!!

Well the new sump arrived this week and it was destroyed during shipping I have been waiting for 6 months for this new sump and was dissapointed that I am at ground zero again, the manufacturer has promised to ship a new sump in two weeks and we will see what happens.

I have also struggled with the system since I took the AIO biopellets offline last year and have had a series of disease issues and a general lack of balance in the system. I am going to take the system down and reboot with new rock and other system changes once the sump arrives.

Oh and finally my breeding pair of Jockulators passed this week both within 24hs of each other. The hits just keep on coming, some days I really dont enjoy the hobby.......
