So, I am a fan of having a tank, and was initially brought into this hobby by my boyfriend. We had the conversation and agreed to have a 45g, which turned into a 75g in about a month....typical right?

Ever since I have slowly seen any extra space in the apartment be taken up by "fish crap" the general term for all things salty!

I have tried to keep the mayhem under control and living in a limited amount of space it frustrates me quite a bit to see it in every single room!
i love my tank, i really do, i am just not a fan of having it everywhere....

any ideas, stories or anecdotes?
thanks guys!

Well you could alway get rid of stuff you dont need anymore. I need to do the same thing one of these days. :gay1:

Otherwise organize as much as possible take a whole day and just go through everything.

May be he should upgrade to a larger tank/stand and it all could be kept under that?

erm....
MR.beachbum2, any ideas can be squashed right now! you are the culprit!
we already have a big enough tank for the apartment RYAN!

sheesh.

i do try to keep things organized, it feels like every week its a new something or other that we need to have!

I do the same thing but at least I am lucky enough to have the crawl space under our stairs dedicated to fish junk

Even with that, I still find myself creeping fish junk into other area's of the house all the time - which Kevin finds and then moves to the crawl space everytime

Its an never ending cycle of fish stuff from rooms all over the house back to the crawl space in our house

My plan for this week is to organize the crawl space and install some cupboards for more storage and get rid of what I dont need.

If he goes through everything - I bet he would be surprized at how much he has and finds quite a bit he can get rid of....

BTW - Good Luck chica - us fish nutz are hard core addicts!:gay1:

Basically, everything but the salt and buckets could be stored in a dresser or buffet that would just look like a nice piece of furniture. The drawers in the dresser or buffet could be organized with appropriate sized plastic basket containers so that items don't get "lost" in space. The salt and buckets can be stacked and stored in a coat closet/linen closet. If space is lacking for another piece of furniture (dresser) try designating a shelve in the linen closed to all things salt, except the buckets. You will enjoy the aquarium more if you weren't irritated by the salt stuff distracting your view of the aquarium. Go for it. You can get it organized.
