Ok so done having kids and ready to start a new tank looking for a tank 29 gallon to 55 gallon any suggestions. I got rid of everything when I had my first kid so I need everything. anyone have items for free or sale ?

If I were you I'd go for a 90 or a 75. I am already running out of real estate in my 57g after 8 months.

55gal... 75gal... They're both 4ft long. She won't notice the difference.

All those tank are wrong.....LOL.........33 long is the way to go.....4' long 12'' deep. Perfect for shallow reef.

If you go with a 40br size, you can grab a brand new tank for $40 when PetCo has its Dollar-per-Gallon sales.

Not to turn you away from a taller tank like a 57g or 58g, but keep in mind that means the lighting has to be more intense as the tank gets deeper for corals.

For a 58 a 250w halide pendent is more than enough and their are plenty laying around for sale I'm sure.
You going for a sump or no sump?

I say skip the little extra height and just go for 40B. Harder to clean a taller tank and 40Bs are the perfect size and easy to find.
