Thanks. I kinda' thought that was gonna' be the case. I thought I'd ask though. I'll search around for info on the Sun Power fixture.

I've been looking at pictures of the Solar Flare units today. They don't look as sleek/clean as the ATI, or the TEK fixtures. Are there any other fixtures to consider?
 
I've seen people with DIY "legs" for the ATI fixture made out of black or clear acrylic that looked really slick.

I was in the exact same boat as you trying to find a black fixture since the trim, stand around my tank and old fixture is/was black. I think that the silver and black work much better than silver and oak or any other natural wood color, but again just my opinion.

The solar flare also comes with moonlights integrated into the fixture. Something to keep in mind, since the ATI doesn't leave any room to add moonlights unless you can fit them elsewhere either around the rim of the tank or on the canopy (if you have one).

It's personal preference, but I think the Solar Flare is better looking than the Teks.... It depends, the Solar Flare is in the middle of the field.... Sfigoli has a new all T5 fixture as well as Fauna Marine and the Gieseman is HOT! But since they are new, not sure when they'll make it to the US... THey are more pricey too.

Thanks Matt. What about the Aquactinics Constellation?
 
I think the only downside on the constellation is that they are using workhorse ballast, which aren't very good, and I'm not sure about active cooling... I know Tom ( aquactinics owner) has been talking about changing these ballasts....

Also +1 to what Eric said about moonlights... I do miss that about my solar flare, its pretty cool to watch everything at night.
 
Constellation does have good airflow that's not a huge concern. The workhorse slightly underdriving the bulbs is a negative. Tommy ( Nightowl ) has one on his 75g. It's better then a Tek in performance but again not the greatest. Like the Solarflare, if your looking for style points, they aren't much to look at......
