Apparently their parent company filed for bankruptcy and they are selling their assets in Rhinelander.

They up and closed shop abruptly and stiffed people on their pending orders I guess.
They were bad these days and killed a ton of fish in shipping, but it’s really a bummer. They have been around since the day I got in the hobby.

Too bad, but honestly it’s never been the same since Kevin Kohen moved on
I loved taking the road trip to rhinelander
From what I've seen from them the last few years, good riddance, but it is sad to see how they went to

I'm mostly sad about the website being gone. A useful quick resource even if it wasn't always super accurate. And great pictures.

I used to go to Divers Den religiously. Not the same in recent years, but back in the day it was fun.
I’m a big fan of WYSIWYG. I like going to stores because it is fun…I wonder what new things they will have. But I do like WYSIWYG from the comfort of my couch too.

Umm so now they’re back open. Very odd, wonder if they are just do shipping from a distributor now.The property listing clearly showed all the tanks drained.

Saw that, their communications department could have done a little better job with an explanation then a coupon. Vs just kidding we are back lol

Ahh ok so the Rhinelander facility is just the Divers Den stuff and they still have lots of livestock to liquidate in LA. Yikes.
well, 10ish years ago, diver's den was very different than liveaquaria.com
non-divers den, non-ora liveaquaria.com was basically drop shipping from Quality Marine in california.
Pretty sure it was still drop shipped from Quality Marine after Petco acquired Drs Fosters and Smith (which owned Live Aquaria) in 2019
I'm not sure what the situation was after Petco sold it in 2020 (i think that was when that happened).
Totally possible too that there's an outstanding contract with the drop shipper and that's why the site came back.
