Thank you! I will let you know if I have the desire for some :) I would definately go halfzees on one of nanofins' frag packs, Some of the corals in there I dont think I really know if i want them in my tank. My approach to buying corals is I need to LOVE it and NEED IT to buy it Lol

I feel like a lot of people here would say yes, sometimes they NEED a certain coral or their life will suffer from then on without it lol or that is the way it seems!!

Yes actually!

I was having trouble with the Joe the Coral frag, just didn't want to color up or show good PE so I asked for some advice, was told on RC to move it down in the tank and see what happens then... and BOOM come home from drill today from being gone for 3 days and I see this!

Colors are starting to show and i'm getting major PE, love this frag now :)

I'm planning on making a trip down to the Cities' LFS' this Friday for 2 new fish. Probably will be another clown to pair with the one I already have. Not sure if I want a plain Jane occ like I do now so I might mix it up a bit and get a onyx or a black ice variant.. maybe even a black and white occ! The other fish with most likely be a Royal Gramma, I loved this fish when I had my first one when I started the tank but my Tang bullied the heck out of it and it died.

I have a 10g QT now, and I will be getting it wet tomorrow, hopefully the tests go well and Friday I can get some new fish!
 
Tank Update!!

I had the day off today and after I completed some "to do's" around the house it was tank time..

-I set up my QT today; Ebo Jager heater, couple pieces of PVC pipe, and a HOB power filter, everything is ready for a Friday trip to SWE and DA to get some new fish!

-I also acid washed the rest of my initial reef-saver rock this morning, let it dry in the sun then soaked and rinsed with RO/DI. After that I got to aquascaping, after adding only 2 SPS corals I realized what I finally hand in mind for this tank and that I will need more vertical space to place corals closer to the lights so I pulled out the rock that was getting and update and got to work.

-Here is a finished product picture of the final aquascape, I really like it and I think this is where I will leave it (lets hope). I put the remaining pieces of rock in my sump if I feel the need to add something to the top right.

JACE was suppose to stop by today and pick up my dry pukani but he never made it up here! I was going to have him help me with the look (two sets of eyes are always better than one), but I made it through alright! ..Sorry Jace had to call you out lol :D :banana:

Hey bud, I still managed to take some Rock off you're hands! No wonder why I only got a few pieces, The rest is in you're tank! Lookin good next time I'm up in the area I'll definetly swing by, let me know what u got at SWE.

Tank update!!

Not to much to update on the main tank but I do have 2 new fish in QT right now :) Picked them up from SWE last Friday and started PraziPro on Sunday. Picked up a Royal Gramma and a Purple Firefish both are doing great, they both hide most of the time but the dart out of their hiding spots whenever I feed and as soon as I cover the front of the tank with a piece of cardboard again they come out of their hiding spots and swim around a bit. Right back in when I try and sneak a peak though!

The Gramma usually hides behind the sponge filter but I caught him out and about and quickly snapped a picture before he scurried back behind the sponge, and the Firefish hides underneath the heater.. Here's a quick pic! (sorry for the blurry-ness had to get a quick shot!)

I will be putting both the clown and yellow tang in the QT for about a week when I decide it is time to pull the 2 new fish out and put them in the main tank. I didn't have a QT set up when I added them at first and I think the Tang is fighting flukes, she rubs on rocks from time to time, hasn't done it in a while but I figure why not. I need her out of the DT to add the 2 new shy fish anyway, why not QT her and treat with Prazi.

Another FTS. Cant tell which picture I like better the White or the Blue hue. You decide.. which way would you rather see the tank? White or Blue?

Not to much to add, still waiting on coralline and and for the dry rock to truly come alive so I can make sure things are stable enough to add new corals! YES, that means I am taking some advice from the experienced reefers and I will take it a little slower, who says SPS can't live happily in a 2 month old tank!? :D (which btw, both SPS corals are doing wonderfully, showing great color and good PE just after the lights go out)

Can't wait for the Fall Frag Swap!! I need to spend some money on some coralssss :)

The rings......I'm not quite sure I can follow this build anymore because of them.... =/
