last time I see that happen was a customer saw how we feed the fish at the store.(food in the feeding bottle) do the same thing at home, but he didn't know we finish all the food within 24hr. he keep the food in the refrigerator for 3-5 days at a time. he got no issue for a very long time, until one day all the fish died after feeding...

Any cucumbers. Had the similar situation happen in 1996. Cucumber showed severe damage ( like the top lay of flesh peeled off ), all fish dead but corals just fine.

Well, get someone over there to stick their hand in the tank to check for electrical current anyway. If there was enough electricity suddenly to kill all of your fish, could it lead to bigger problems? I would probably want to rule that one out is all...

I was going to say the same thing. Sorry to hear about your losses. Sucks!

Thanks for all your input.

Checked for electrical current: None. Also nothing electrical blew up which could have caused a shock. All equipment works perfect.
Frozen food: Food stays frozen in little portion containers and gets used straight away. No left overs.
Cucumbers: None. No other animals in the tank besides those fish.
Nothing got sprayed in the house which contains chemicals.

I guess it will stay a mystery.
Sucks big time.

Finally back home and ready to start all over again.
Right now I am emptying the tank completely.
As I don't know the cause of the crash I won't reuse any of the sand or rocks.
Will clean all the equipment with a heavy vinegar soak. Also will wash the tank and sump with vinegar.

Once all done I will post again with the new setup and progress of the new adventure.
Going to experiment with something new.
Stay tuned
